On 8th and 9th of August, the general assembly of IYNF was taken place online this year. Sara Mu\u00e7aj and I came to Gran Pino in Cecina to be part of the online GA.
\nWhen we arrived at the Gran Pino house on he night before the assembly. Under the new tettoia (a roof structure of the dining area) which was constructed with the help of the German Nature friends two years ago, there were about 70 guests having dinner together, the Gran Pino\u2019s style, a lot of family, a lot of kids and a lot of dogs. We felt welcomed.<\/p>\n
The GA was being conducted online using the Zoom for the first time, along with the online motion tool and voting app. We settled our self in front of the office, having il Gran Pino for our background.<\/p>\n
There were some confusions in the registration process for those tools but once we got a hang of it, both the discussion and voting began to move smoothly.<\/p>\n
Having delegates from the organizations of Senegal and Azerbaijan, both candidate members from 2019, as well as a delegate from the organization from Finland which was voted as a new member of IYNF with full votes in the beginning of the assembly. We were over 30 participants together for this assembly including the commissioners and observers.<\/p>\n
We approved the agenda of the assembly, the budget and the work plans of last year and this year, and then began discussing the motions of statutory changes.<\/p>\n
GIAN-Gi\u00f2 shared our concerns about the lack of transparency in the procedure and feeling of being pushed to vote for these statutory changes in short notice, with which some other participants agreed.<\/p>\n
On the response, the Presidium explained the necessity and timeliness of these changes that have to be discussed during the GA due to the current situations of the Secretariat moving from Czech Republic to Austria, which we also approved in this GA as a sustainable plan for the future.<\/p>\n
We voted the group from Azerbaijan and Greece to be full member of IYNF.
\nThe second last motion passed but was amended on big part. I described the amendment at the end of this note.<\/p>\n
The last motion was about the key of delegates which triggered a dispute which has lead the motion to be postponed for the further discussion at the council 2021.<\/p>\n
We voted for Alexander Sattleder (Austria) and Nicolas Quero Rio (France) – as members of IYNF Youth Arbitration Committee.
\nWe voted for Jannis Gustke (Germany) – as chair of IYNF Youth Arbitration Commission.<\/p>\n
We voted Geert Ates and Petre Mrkev for the IYNF Audit Commission.<\/p>\n
GIAN-Gio requested for the dismissal of the last Presidium, and voted with majority , followed by the election of the new presidium.<\/p>\n
We voted Odeya Toivanen, Ondrej Bradac, Youssoupha Traoreas for the Vice-Presidents of IYNF.
\nWe voted Lisa Hofmann and Paria\u00a0 Bagheri Moghaddam as Presidents of IYNF.
\nThey were all accepted and we have a new presidium.
\nAt 17:30 the GA was adjourned.<\/p>\n
Amendment of the Motion 67: Membership fee for non-NFI MOs
\nMany of the delegates did not agree with the fee, there was a long discussion on this motion. They decided to change the motion into this text:
\nThe GA decides that the amount of membership fee for non-NFI members that are full members of IYNF will be written down in the minutes of this GA based on their statement during the GA. An Annex to the minutes will be sent around for the amount of membership fees for PTTK and will be decided on via circular resolution.
\nPartner organisations have to pay an administrative fee of 50\u20ac per year for the next two years: 2021 and 2022.<\/p>\n
There shall be a working group the presidium and affected organisations where one delegate per member organization can take part to come up with a solution which is fair, transparent, consistent and feasible which should be approved by the next GA. It will start working 4 months before the next GA.
\nThe presidium starts a participatory process together with the affected MOs for the estimation of membership fees for non-NFI member organizations. This process is open for Participants from not affected MOs.
\nAzerbaijan: pays annually 150euros.
\nHungary: pays annually 150 euros.
\nMacedonia: pays annually 200 euros.<\/p>\n
